This entry is part 2 of 3 in the series Issa Vibe: Co-Creating Safe and Brave Spaces (All Grades)

During today’s session, we’ll be spending a lot of time thinking about what it means to create a safe and brave space for community together. To get a fun start to this, we are going to get to know each other in a cool way.
Pass out copies of the Find Someone Who sheet. Then explain:
You will have 5 minutes to fill up this sheet with as many different names of people in this session as possible. When you’ve completed the form, you can sit down proud that you know new and exciting things about people in the room that you might not have known already. When we’re all done, we’ll go down the list together and call out some names to learn about the similarities and differences we share.
Once everyone is done and seated, go through each of the lines, asking questions similar to this format: Who found someone who [insert question]?
By the time you get to the bottom of the list, the room should be all smiles, beaming with pride, which will be the perfect segue into the next activity.
